About Dan Kraus

Dan is an accomplished marketing and sales entrepreneur with over three decades of experience in helping businesses grow, profitably. He’s worked directly for companies such as SAP, Allaire (now part of Adobe) and Great Plains Software (now part of Microsoft). Through both the marketing agency he founded, and fractional VP of Marketing work, has worked with dozens of other companies in technology, healthcare, personal services and business services, to help them establish market presence and acquire new customers.

 

Early Relevance: His first job after college was selling advertising to local companies to be viewed on CNN, USA Network, MTV and ESPN – the very early days before local ads on these national networks were common. Very much trailblazing a new approach for small businesses, like we are doing today with Shift 2 Grow.

 

Dan lives in Charlotte, North Carolina. With his wife Ann, they have two sons and daughter. He is a New England native, adjusting to life in the south. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with a degree in marketing.
